Webinars through teams allow your sessions to be more interactive and engaging for your audience. They can participate as much or as little as you require and you have the option to use different presenter modes, having full control with the ability to disable attendee audio and chat functions and control lobby access.

You have the ability to record your webinar so that you can send it on to others once the webinar has finished or to send it over to the participants for them to refer to at a later date.

Setting up a webinar

Setting up a webinar is just as simple as setting up a teams meeting, you can simply choose to schedule a webinar in your calendar in teams. In the webinar invitation, you can add your required presenters and choose whether you would like your attendees to register or not as well as select whether you would like a response or not. You can add the details and time and date as you would if you were setting up a normal Teams meeting.

When your attendees follow your link, they will go to a lobby rather than be present in the meeting straight away, the organiser or presenter will then let everyone into the webinar once they are ready.

As a presenter of a webinar you will have full control of audience participation, you can choose when the attendees can interact, from if their microphones are on mute to if the chat function is enabled for them to ask questions if it is a more interactive session.
